GPS receivers:
GPS/J can work with a variety of GPS receivers supporting the NMEA 0183
protocol. This includes not only the most popular SiRF STAR chipsets (II and III), but
those from
Sony and other vendors as well. To be sure that your device is supported,
install and run the GPS/J Trial. It is available at
http://www.gpsj.eu/GPSJTrial-2.9.zip.

tech support!
GPS/J does not work with NemeriX, Altina GBT708 and Evermore BT GPS receivers when run on SonyEricsson.
If your GPS receiver is based on SiRF Star chipset, be sure the SiRF Binary Protocol is switched
off and the baud rate is fixed at 9600bps!
