Waypoint and tracks
ANSWERS
  1. An error occurs during track/waypoint export/import to/from filesystem.
JSR 75 is required to import and export track/waypoints to the filesystem.
Probably the problem is caused by application's rights to read/write from the filesystem. On the list of applications go to GPS/J and then choose Options. Then you have to choose something like (it depends on the phone): Application Access>Data access>Add and edit data and change from "not allowed" to "ask every time" or "allowed".
In Symbian handsets navigate to: Menu>Tools>Application Manager. Choose GPS/J>Options>Suite settings>Edit user data and change from "not allowed" to anything else (e.g. "ask every time", "allowed").

  2. Error during track/point saving occurs.
The most frequent problem during saving tracks or waypoints is caused by the memory subsystem (RMS). Some devices (e.g. Nokia 6021, 6230) have limited RMS memory (see our Nokia Series 40 page ). If a problem occurs, delete some “big” tracks and downloaded maps to clean memory. Sometimes nothing helps and then reinstall of application is needed. In this case export all data (tracks and waypoint) to files or to Portal. After reinstallation import them back. If problem occurs very often, record track without altitude and timestamp, these tracks are much smaller. To change tracks settings navigate to Menu>Tracks>Settings.

For devices with limited midlet memory, we recommend to save tracks with standard time interval (every 10 seconds) and not exceeding 1000 points in one track. Apart from that you should not save tracks which have more then 3000 points (you can check how many points the track has in Menu>Tracks>track name>Details).
