What is GPS/J?
GPS/J is a console for Bluetooth-enabled GPS devices, a mobile navigation tool
for cellular phone owners and the most affordable and convenient way to use

What can I do with GPS/J?
You can fix your location (longitude, latitude, altitude), measure speed and
distances, learn about the heading (direction you move to) and bearing (course) to a point,
visualise the trip on a chart, and much more. See About GPS/J for details!
What do I need to use GPS/J?
In the most common case - you have to have a Java enabled cell phone and a GPS
receiver, both need to be equipped with the Bluetooth® interface. Then you have to download and
install the application.
How to install GPS/J?
The installation of GPS/J is
a short, straightforward process of downloading and installing the application, initiated by
visiting our WAP page (wap.gpsj.eu; you have to obtain the activation key
first). You can also transfer the JAR archive using OBEX (via Bluetooth®).
Can I install via OBEX? Can you send me the JAR?
No.
Application JAR should be nowadays installed via OTA by visiting GPS/J WAP site with the mobile browser.
Download to the PC will be available soon.
Can maps be installed via the Bluetooth interface?
No, via HTTP/GPRS connection only. Maps should be installed from inside the application - run GPS/J, navigate to Map/Options/Manage Maps/Download
and submit the key.
Do I have to pay for upgrade?
